WORLD MAP IS WRONG!!!!!!

Today's topic is very shocking!!!!, because the world map that you were seeing from childhood is absolutely wrong.

Read the blog till the end to see, how was the map wrong, was it done purposely or either it was planned????

The maps that we saw or we see till now are 2D maps which is also called as mercatus projector.

This mercatus projector was made by GERADUS MERCATOR.

The person name Geradus Mercator was a cartographer.

CARTOGRAPHER are those person who's design maps due to stats of various longitudes.

this world map was mainly made for the the travelers and sailors so as they can perform there traveling.

mistakes in world map-

1.  So if you observe the map, you will observe that the size of Greenland is very much big, whereas the size of Africa as compared to Greenland is very small,
   

but the truth is Africa is 14.5 times greater than Greenland.

2. By observing the old map , you will see that Europe is biggest as compared to South America,

 whereas South America is 3 times greater  than Europe.

3. Now watch this image, the size of Alaska is big, whereas we all learnt from schools that Mexico is smaller,

 

but the truth is Mexico is 1.3 times of Alaska, because  the portion size of Alaska is round about 15 lakhs sq.km and Mexico has 19.6 lakhs sq.km

4. now is the turn of Australia and Brazil, according to map you will see that australia is bigger and Brazil is small,

but according to new world map, Brazil is bigger than Australia  by 10%, because the size proportion  of Australia is 77 lakhs approx, whereas Brazil's size is approx 85 lakhs.

5. As we all know Russia is the biggest of all in the world, and as compared to Russia Africa is small,

but its shocking to hear that Russia is just half of Africa, yes you heard that right, Africa is 2X times of Russia.

• WHY THE MAP IS MADE WRONG???

The map that was made by Geradus Mercator was not almost wrong for the travelers or sailors, but its actually wrong with the size of continents and country.

THEORIES: what theories says that , the map that was made by Geradus Mercator  was from Germany, and when he showed  this map to the king of Germany, then the king  ordered that , to show white people's country  and continents and place to be big rather than others, hence that was the reason  that the world map was wrong.
